York Gardens Ltd is a York-based garden care business, owned and run by Mark Beresford, offering landscaping, garden design, maintenance and tree surgery for homes and businesses.

Our team
Mark has more than 10 years’ experience in the industry, and in only a few short years after starting the company from our base in Earswick, he built up over 200 regular customers, along with plenty of happy one-off clients. We cover York and the surrounding villages, including Haxby, Shipton and Wheldrake.
Our team all come from a landscaping background, with experience of both soft and hard landscaping for domestic and commercial customers, so we can take on anything from a regular lawn mow to a full garden redesign, a new driveway or tree surgery.
Mark combines his hands-on experience with recognised horticultural qualifications, and our tree surgeons are fully qualified and insured, with all work carried out to BS3998:2010 recommendations for tree work.
Our work
We’re proud to be accredited by BALI, the UK’s leading professional body for landscapers, and approved by Marshalls as an installer, which means our work has been checked to a high standard. We’re currently the only company in the greater York area to hold both.
